Frequently Asked Questions
When should I do lawn care?
Aim for early spring for cool-season grasses and late spring to early summer for warm-season grasses. Learn more about dethatching. If Crabgrass is a problem in your lawn, apply pre-emergent herbicides to keep seeds that dropped last summer from germinating. Timing is critical for this application.
Can dead grass come back?
There is no way to revive dead grass, but you can lay new sod to grow your landscape again from scratch. If you notice brown, bare, or thinning areas in your lawn, these are clear signs that you need to sow new seed or replace the sod.
Latex vs. Oil Paint?
Latex paints or acrylic paints are fast-drying water-based paints. Oil based paint is a slow drying paint made with oil. Latex paints are generally better for the interior of homes and on large surfaces. Oil-based paints are generally used on metals, wood and for paintings.
Do I have Latex or Oil Paint on my walls?
Rub a alcohol-soaked cotton back and forth over the clean wall. If paint comes off onto the cotton ball, the paint is latex. If the cotton ball is clean with no paint, it’s an oil-based paint.
What is the purpose of pressure washing?
Pressure washing is useful for cleaning any exterior surface that has caked-on dirt, grease, plant residue or other material across a large surface area.
